So, Ron Sparks and Gary Goodridge are officially signed to fight Jan 9th and paperwork has been sent off to the Athletic Commission. I recently had a meeting with Fox 19 about some things and that went very well. Hopefully next week we will have more concrete things ironed out and be able to make some announcements. It’s been a hard up and down road with regards to dealing with television. This past year I’ve spent on avererage of $15,000 PER EVENT, just for television production. That’s $120,000 just this year to rack up content of events that currently aren’t being used to their full potential. That’s $120,000 I could have saved and used for other things. It’s amazing how it all adds up. Well, this year is all about LIVE television. Sponsors dont give a shit about anything other than live broadcasts so thats our goal.

I just got 3 more dates from Belterra I need to check out of which will be posted on the Big Show site. Feb, April and May. Instead of doing a year in advance and getting caught up with holidays and crappy dates we can’t change, we are going to focus on 3 at a time.

One of the best ways to broadcast nationally, LIVE, on television is to own the channel. So, my partner and I are working out some things where we may be able to land our own DirecTV station and will be filling it up with music videos, indie movies, mixed martial arts and other content with a focus on LIVE broadcasts. We are working some things out so we’ll see how the next few weeks go. I got word that InDemand is on board to carry my monthly On Demand PPV’s and we are still waiting on word from several other platforms.

I really think 2010 is going to be a banner year for the MMA Big Show and Big Show Entertainment as a whole. Now that I’m single, I have so much more time to focus on work and building my empire. I’m basically just picking up where I left off. Training to fight, building an empire and enjoying life a bit. Nothing beats the thrill of success except the love of a good woman. At least I’ve enjoyed some success and 2010 is going to be the year of building.

Oh, I’m also looking for a squad of dancers to become the MMA Big Show Dance Team. Dancing in the cage, throwing out shirts, dancing around the cage for fans etc. Just another element of fun for the shows. Anyone interested should add me by name on Facebook and send me a message.
